30 Pages. 30 Jours.

Tel était l'objectif du projet NaNoMango.

Lancé en parallèle du NaNoWriMo, le but étant de motivé de jeunes débutants et des professionnelles pendant tout le mois de Novembre.

Réalisé une petite histoire pendant une courte durée.

J'ai crée cette petite histoire, dispo' sur mon deviantArt, en Anglais.

That was the objective behind the NaNoMango project.

Launched simultaneously with the NaNoWriMo, aspiring beginners and long time professionals tried to make a short story during this whole month of November.

Il est temps de rafraichir ce blog avec un autre projet auquel j'ai eu la chance de participer.

Captain Human est une petite bande dessinée sur lequel j'ai travaillé. Les dessins sont de Jin Chan Yum Wai, et l'histoire elle-même a été écrite par le scénariste Ryan Lindsay (!!).

J'ai simplement fait les couleurs de cette histoire de ~10 pages.

Time to post another work I had the pleasure to participate in recently.

Captain Human is a comic book project I had the chance to work on. The art is illustrated by my good pal Jin Chan Yum Wai, and the comic was written by Ryan Lindsay (!!) no less.

I simply did the colors of this ~10 pages story.

Encore un grand merci à l'auteur! Voilà une chose de réalisé pour une année qui ne s'annonçait pas si bonne que ça (chômage..).

One of my drawings was featured in the Pin-up/Fanarts gallery in the book Bomb Queen Deluxe Edition Vol. 3 by Jimmie Robinson from Image Comics.

Selected by M. Robinson himself, I was contacted by the author by email earlier in the year.

I would like to thank you once again for the opportunity (and the copy of the book)! Finally some good came from a pretty bad year (unemployed at the moment and all...).

- Having something published by an actual comic book editor - Achieved (kinda)!

Here's something EPIC I've been working on for this past year or so.

It's 1000 CHARACTER FACES from several various genres and types of fiction (including real life persons/celebrities colored differently).

Porfolio - BD-Fil 2013

Aujourd'hui, j'aimerais profiter de mettre ici disponible ma participation pour le concours BD-FIL 2013.

BD-FIL est un petit festival annuel local, ici en Suisse. Le thème cette année était "Les Nouveaux Monstres".

J'ai donc opté pour les problèmes sociaux à l'école, et des themes d'actualités.

Bon, ok, je n'ai ni gagné, ni été retenu. Mais bon, m'enfin, ça m'étonne pas...

Today I'd like to take this occasion to post here my entry for the BD-FIL 2013 contest.

BD-FIL is a small local comic convention here in Switzerland. The subject of the contest this year were "The New Monsters".

I decided to approach this from a social bullying/peer pressure angle, with some current on-going issues.

Yeah, so I didn't win. I'm not that surprised, but this was fun to produce anyways...

Galactic Janitors est un autre projet sur lequel je travaille en ce moment.

Pour l'instant, deux "chapitres" ont vu le jour sur deviantArt.

Il s'agit d'une autre série humour, et parodiant la science-fiction en général.

As of today, two chapters have been made available through deviantArt.

It's another all-ages/humor series, with some parodies regarding classic sci-fi tropes.

Making Comics - 02

Étrangement j'ai encore reçu une réponse des Editions Paquet aujourd'hui. Toujours à propos de mon projet "RubberMan" envoyé au début de l'année.

Encore une réponse négative, mais une réponse quand même!

Je vais sans doute leur envoyer à nouveau un dossier plus complet avec plus de contenu/histoires différentes prochainement. (hey! Ils finnissent apparement par répondre aux mails, donc...)

Strangely enough I received another answer from Les Editions Paquet today. Again from my RubberMan sent earlier this year (!).

The answer was again negative, but hey, feedback!

I will probably spam them again later on with more content and other material. (they do answer back, so...)
